Hong-Maojian (Dian Hong-Yunnan) 顛紅毛尖

An excellent hearty black tea harvested and processed in Yunnan Province China. It’s a broken leaf, but contains many golden tips as well as leaf and bud couplets. The aroma of the dry leaf is sweet and earthy. The infused leaf produces a deep red liquor and the flavour is hearty with sweet fruity and earthy notes. This is a great morning tea, excellent on its own, but hearty enough to stand up to the addition of milk and/or sugar.
